Chef Kate's story

That's me on the left!

My name is Kate Adkins, I'm a born-and-raised East Tennessee woman with a passion for creative arts and cooking. I attended Pellissippi State Community College in Knoxville, Tennessee, where I obtained two degrees in both Hospitality Management and Culinary Arts. I've served, cooked on the line, tended bar and worked just about every other service job you could possibly imagine, before taking the dive in 2024 and quitting my bartending job to cook full time. It's been less than a year, but I am beyond proud to say Cheesekate's™ has grown exponentially. Let me plan, shop, execute and clean up after your next big meal, right in the comfort of your own home or vacation rental.

Outside of cooking, I enjoy spending my time with my cat Bella Louise, painting, reading books, watching science documentaries, going to yard sales and rock hounding.
